Timmy Regisford is a legendary American DJ, producer, and music pioneer widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in house music. Born and raised in New York City, Regisford's career spans decades, during which he has played a pivotal role in shaping the soulful and deep house genres. Often referred to as "The Maestro," he became known for his soulful, extended DJ sets and masterful blends of house, R&B, and gospel-infused rhythms. Regisford is perhaps most recognized for his groundbreaking work as a resident DJ at the famed Shelter nightclub, where he created a spiritual and uplifting atmosphere that drew dancers from around the world. He's also known for his late-night DJ mixes on New York's WBLS in the 80s and 90s.  In addition to his DJing career, Regisford has had an impactful role in the music industry.
