Columbia South Carolina | How Bad Is It?

I went to Columbia, South Carolina to see if it's really as bad as some say it is. With a violent crime rate of 114% OVER the National Average, and a poverty level of 23.8%, it doesn't sound good so far. There's a population of about 149k residents, and a median income per capita of around 44k. Today ill show some of the more higher crime areas, along with some areas being gentrified. There's a lot of improvement going on here, and many of the abandoned / condemned houses are being torn down for brand new housing. Is it really that bad? Let's take a look and decide...
