Mountain Biking Redhead

We decided to run up to Redhead Mountain Bike Park for the grand opening of the new skills park/pump track to check it out and get some riding in. They also have some new trails with a couple of them being a little more downhill oriented. The trails were great, the weather was beautiful, and we ended up with a fun 12 mile ride. Definitely check out the trails if you get up in the area! The pump track and skills area was really crowded with a lot of BMX youngsters which is good to see but we decided to skip it since they were having a good time and didn't need us interrupting it. The new trails are awesome but, the entire trail system is actually pretty cool! There are some sweet views and overlooks which can also create some exposure on the trails. The trails provide a good mix of greens, blues, and blacks so everyone should be able to have a good ride depending upon your style of riding.
