Hangover Island Camping Day 2 | Broken Rod Redfish & My PB Trout

Day 2 of my Hangover Island solo camping trip started slow and cold, so I took my time getting out on the water. Before fishing, I made a jalapeño popper omelette at camp, enjoyed the quiet morning, and finally launched around noon to head back up the St. Martin River toward the area I had explored the day before. On the way, I had a fellow YouTuber pull alongside and ask if I was heading to the bay just upstream. I was, and he was kind enough to let me have the area since I beat him to it. His channel is Searcher Outdoors, and I mention him in the video. Once I got there, things got wild. I hooked into an upper-slot redfish that ended up breaking my fishing rod during the fight. After that, I headed back to camp for a quick dinner and made some ribeye bites before going back out just after sunset for some night fishing. That ended up being the highlight of the day when I caught my new PB sea trout at 22 inches. Day 2 ends with a preview of Day 3, which turned out to be the best day of the entire trip.
