S1E5 - Entities in Sharon Springs

Part 5- the PENULTIMATE EPISODE of Season One- begins with a paranormal investigation at the Pavilion Cottages, guided by our fabulous new neighbors (literally next door). It’s a genuine exploration of the question: Are there entities here? The answer is yes—and not necessarily in the ways you might expect. Because this episode isn’t really about ghosts. It’s about people. When we encountered this property, something about it felt different. Not supernatural necessarily. Just... layered. I dunno. Maybe it's because this land once held deep meaning to different groups of people long before the resort fell into disrepair and abandonment. The thing is... Sharon Springs has been shaped by the individuals and communities who have chosen to invest in it over time. In recent years that has included artists, entrepreneurs, preservationists, and small business owners who have helped define the public character of the village during a (relatively) last-minute decades-long reemergence. Somehow in recent years this place has developed a reputation for attracting LGBTQ+ owned and LGBTQ+ affirming businesses. In a town this small and this rural, that matters. We think this project could work here, in this village, at this time. Our hopes for this place are specific- maybe even niche- but it just seems like if something like this could happen, it could happen in Sharon Springs. We start with ghost-hunting equipment.
