The inaugural session will commence at 3.00pm on 10th February at IMC, MANUU, Hyderabad. Prof. Muzaffar Shah Miri, VC, Dr. Abdul Haque Urdu University will be the Chief Guest and Prof. Naseemuddin Farees will be the Guest of Honour while Prof. Shafey Kidwai, Chairperson, Dept. of Mass Communication, AMU, Aligarh will deliver the key note address. Prof. S.M.Rahmatullah, VC i/c, MANUU will preside over the function. The Director, DTP Prof. Mohd. Zafaruddin, Director, DTP will welcome the guests and deliver inaugural speech while Dr. Aslam Parwez, covenor, seminar will deliver the vote of thanks. The first session on 11th February (10.30am-1.00pm) will be presided over by Prof. Siddiqui Mohd. Mahmood, Registrar, MANUU and Prof. Moinuddin Jinabade, CIL, JNU. Prof. Fatima Begam Parveen, Prof. Zafar Ahsan, Prof. Md. Jahangir Warsi, Prof. Faheem Akhtar, Prof. Moshahid etc. will present their papers. The second session (2.30pm- 5.30pm) will be presided over by Prof. M. N. Sayeed and Prof. Farooq Bakhsh. Prof. Ashhar Qadeer, Prof. Fazlullah Mukarram, Dr. Abid Moiz, Prof. Badiuddin Ahmad, Prof. Afroz Alam, Prof. Abdul Sami Siddiqui etc. will present their papers in this session and thereafter a brief velidictory session will follow. Instructional Media Centre (IMC) is an initiative of MANUU, Hyderabad to bring education to your doorstep. Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is a Central University established at National Level in 1998 by an act of Parliament to promote and develop the Urdu language and to impart vocational and technical education in Urdu medium through conventional and distance modes. To develop the media components as part of the media-mix of the Distance Education offerings, MANUU has established a full-fledged ‘Instructional Media Centre (IMC) on its campus. IMC primarily serves the distance education needs of the University and Instructional Media Centre, MANUU Youtube channel is an initiative to provide the wider access of Higher Education to the un-reached, people desirous of pursuing programmes of higher education and training in Urdu medium through Distance modes.
