Psychoterror durch Stalking – Scham, Verzweiflung, Obdachlosigkeit & Gefängnis #96 Ralf Scharrer
Trigger warning: This episode deals with stalking, psychological abuse, control, insults, threats, fear, isolation, self-doubt, physical strain, homelessness, suicidal thoughts, loss of possessions, legal disputes, prison, and shame. Only listen to this episode if you feel stable enough to handle it. Stop listening if you feel overwhelmed. Ralf loves people, the stage, language, and beautiful things. Even as a child, he dreamed of becoming an actor. At first, he took a different path: an apprenticeship at a health food store, his own organic food business, success, responsibility, and hard work. Later, he sold his shop, moved to Cologne, and still followed his dream of acting. But an encounter on a cruise changed his life. What initially seemed like a conversation and later like an overly close relationship gradually developed into stalking. Ralf recounts how the calls became more frequent. First every few weeks, then daily, then repeatedly at short intervals. He describes insults, pressure, boundary violations, and the feeling of no longer being able to make his own decisions. He moves to Cologne, starts over, and tries to gain some distance. But the stalker finds his way back to him. Ralf talks about powerlessness, shame, self-doubt, and how he didn't have a word for what was happening to him back then. He recounts how stalking takes a toll on his body, how his hair falls out, how he becomes ill, and how he increasingly feels like he can no longer control his own life.
