2019 Kone Marine elevators on the Norwegian Encore Cruise Ship SQUARE BUTTONS

(August 2024) These are just your basic Kone Marine elevators but the forward elevators have SQUARE BUTTONS while the aft elevators have the standard round ones. Anyway these elevator layouts are terrible. You basically have 2 sets of 4 elevators right next to each other. Some serve some decks while others don't. Destination dispatch is the only practical way to deal with an elevator layout like this. The forward elevators have 4 that serve decks 4-17. Three that serve Decks 4-18 and one car that serves 4-19.
