A Hard Day at 344km | Yearlings Face Headwinds and Showers

To enjoy more of my racing pigeon videos, go to my channel ‪@TyberryLoftsLenVanderlinde‬ The yearlings return to racing after dealing with the effects of the Rotavirus outbreak, but the timing couldn't have been much tougher. With strong headwinds and showers forecast along the route, the birds faced a challenging 344km race home. I sent 30 race birds and 21 trainers, but confidence wasn't high heading into this one. The big question was whether the birds had fully recovered from the virus symptoms or if they were still carrying the effects into race day. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great result for my team, and with so many pigeons away, the wait for returns was a long and anxious one. That's pigeon racing—sometimes the tough races teach us more than the easy ones. Join me as I follow the birds' progress, assess their condition, and look ahead to what comes next for the team.
