Baking a Birthday Cake Without an Oven

#offgridliving #omnia #slowliving Join me on my birthday as I bake a chocolate brownie cake off-grid, without an oven, using the Omnia stove. --The recipe: Ingredients -200g dark chocolate 200g unsalted butter 3 large eggs 250g light brown sugar (1¼ cups) 95g plain flour (¾ cup) 40g cocoa powder (½ cup) 150-200g Rolos or any other caramel chocolate (frozen) (Optional toppings) 100g chocolate chunks (½ cup) 2-4 tbsp toffee sauce --Instructions: 1. Freeze the caramel chocolates for at least 2 hours before baking. 2. Melt the dark chocolate & butter together gently. 3. Mix eggs & sugar vigorously until pale and fluffy (increased volume). 4. Combine the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg and sugar mixture by gently folding until smooth. 5. Sift and fold in the flour and cocoa powder until just combined. 6. Add frozen caramel chocolates, continuing to mix gently. 7. Pour the batter into a greased/lined baking tin (or Omnia silicone insert). and smooth the top. 8. Bake: Omnia Oven: Cook over a low flame with lid on for 40 minutes. Conventional Oven: Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes. 9. Let cool in the tray for at least 2 hours. 10. Once completely cool, turn onto a plate, and drizzle with optional toffee sauce and enjoy! --THE STORY: Hello Friends, and welcome back to another video!
