Starchitects, Bilbao Effects, wealth, all have sway over the conversations architects have and what gets built. But the influence doesn’t always travel in one direction. Sometimes architecture influences celebrities. This video breaks down the complex relationship that two celebrities in particular — Brad Pitt and Kanye West — have with architecture. Brad Pitt was introduced to Frank Lloyd Wright and bought a chair. Kanye West was introduced to Le Corbusier and made an album.
