A Beautiful Orthodox Monastery… But I Wouldn’t Go Back

Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery, Florence, Arizona After almost 10 years living in Arizona, I finally visited an Orthodox monastery. We spent the day exploring Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery in Florence, Arizona. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, the pond was peaceful, and seeing water lilies in person was a highlight of the trip. At the same time, I wasn’t prepared for how strict some of the rules were.
