How to Recaulk Seams on your teak

The caulking at my helmsman seat is a bit bad so I sand the whole thing and put in some new caulking, the procedure is : 1. cut the caulking loose in the edges with a utility knife 2. pull out the caulking with the reefing hook 3. sand the whole surface with grid 100 4. sand the caulking seams with TDS seam sander (grid 40) 5. remove dust and degrease with acetone 6. apply TDS bond braker tape (3.5 mm) in the bottom of the groove 7. apply SIS 440 Teak deck caulking 8. sand with grid 60 and then grid 100
