Bison Hip join us in the studio for a brilliant chat covering music, friendship, recording, and one very important topic... biscuits. Finalists for Emerging Artist of the Year at the UK Blues Awards 2026, Bison Hip have built a reputation for doing things their own way. The band place restrictions on themselves when recording, allowing just four takes before moving on. They also aim to record as live as possible, capturing the energy and imperfections that give their music its authentic sound. We talk about how the band came together, the years spent in other projects before life took them in different directions, and how friendship remains at the heart of everything they do. We also confess to nearly forgetting to offer them biscuits, and somehow managing to leave them sitting in the wrong waiting room when they arrived at the studio.
