Mastering E Minor: Easy Guide for Metal Guitarists Who Don't Know Music Theory

If you've shied away from learning music theory or you want to learn just enough to get by, this video is for you. I'm breaking down the key of E minor to help you come up with metal riffs, power chord progression, and guitar solos. Hopefully, you'll find this video easy to follow and understand. At least that's my intent. Disclaimer: I'm not a music theory buff by any means. I know what I feel I need to know. And I don't think about theory when I'm writing riffs, solos, and songs. Rather, I take what I'm hearing in my head and translate that to the guitar (or vocal melody when I'm singing and writing lyrics). This does not mean that my way is right or the best, or that it is wrong. I always encourage you to find the method that works best for you.
