💛 Aloka at the Airport This Morning — A Reflection on Letting Go This morning, May 21, 2026, Aloka, together with Most Venerable Ratanaguṇa and several lay devotees, was at the airport to bid farewell to Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra as he departed for a short trip to Canada to attend two special Vesak events as an honored guest. 💛 A Calmer Goodbye – Aloka was noticeably calmer and less emotional than he was a few days ago when saying goodbye to the Thai venerable monks. It seems that Aloka is learning to manage his emotions, becoming more accepting of the reality that sometimes on this path, we must temporarily step apart from those we love. Life is naturally impermanent. There are moments when separation is unavoidable due to the shifting circumstances of life. We are deeply touched to see Aloka adapting to this truth, greeting this morning with a quieter, more grounded maturity. 💛 An Inspiring Reminder for All of Us – Aloka's journey serves as a beautiful inspiration for our own lives. Because change is inevitable, partings will always be a part of our story—loved ones travel, responsibilities call, and distances come between us. But when we meet these moments with open hearts and mindfulness, choosing gentle acceptance rather than resistance, we can move through life's transitions with greater ease and inner calm. Separation does not mean the end of a connection. Deep bonds transcend physical presence. When we carry peace within ourselves, we carry our loved ones with us wherever we go.
