From Good to Great: Masterclass in AnyLogic Modeling

This workshop is part from AnyLogic Conference 2021 - a unique online demonstration of simulation modeling from the AnyLogic team and the world's most successful companies. We have tutorials, we have example models, we even have online courses to learn AnyLogic. But becoming a good simulation modeller requires constant sharpening of many skills. In this workshop, Dr. Benjamin Schumann will introduce a masterclass series on a host of important topics that are often missed when learning AnyLogic: • Some conceptual: the importance of having purpose and translating real systems into AnyLogic elements • Some hands-on: How should you structure models so they stay flexible? What do you really need to know about object-oriented programming to succeed? • And some social: Developing models as a team, using code reviews, testing and GitHub as your code base. In the future, Ben will develop each of these lessons into in-depth classes that will explore these in more detail.
