As members of parliament continue their examination of divisive bills this week, Thursday, April 16, was marked by another incident during the session. It's not goals that are scored, but laws are passed. At the National Assembly on Thursday, April 16, members continued their examination of the bill aimed at strengthening security, administrative detention, and the prevention of terrorist attacks, championed by Macronist MP Charles Rodwell. MPs held several very close votes on amendments, until a decision by the presiding officer ignited the Assembly.
