Pasadena Humane spokesperson reveals ‘common’ injuries for displaced pets in LA fires

Kevin McManus from Pasadena Humane revealed burns and smoke inhalation are the “common” injuries for animals during catastrophic wildfires. “In total, over 550 animals have come to our shelter since the fires started,” Mr McManus told Sky News Australia. Multiple agencies, including animal control, are working closely with Pasadena Humane to rescue injured and displaced animals. “The common injuries for animals are burns, smoke inhalation, dehydration, among other things,” he said. The Palisades and Eaton fires remain out of control, forcing evacuation zones to spread.
