Second Frankston Line & First X’Trapolis 2.0 Service In The Caulfield Loop - City Loop

In this video we take a ride on XT2 unit 5 along the Frankston line from Parkdale to Flinders Street via City Loop then to Carrum we’re it terminated & ran empty cars into Kananook sidings. This was the second XT2 passenger service along the Frankston line but also the first service to run through the Caulfield Loop (City Loop) as the first XT2 Frankston service ran direct to & from Flinders Street due to weekend works in the City Loop.
