COVID-19 Holiday in the most SCENIC VIEW - COOKING LAPAS (LIMPETS)

Hi All, Thanks for watching my latest video of me during my get away in my home Island of Madeira in Portugal. In this Video I will be exploring Funchal and I will be sourcing the most incredible and fresh local LAPAS aka Limpets. EQUIPMENT I USED My Camera -https://amzn.to/36ei6YO The recipe is simple. Lapas - 1KG 1 Whole Lemon Garlic 3-4 cloves cut finely Parsley finely chopped Butter Method 1. Start by chopping your garlic, parsley very finely 2. Then mix all of it together with a good quality butter 3. melt the butter down a little to help mix it in well. 4. Get a frying pan and get to a high heat 5. Once hot start placing the Lapas shell down. 6. after around 1.5 minutes or check to see if the Lapas are separating from the Shell 7. start adding garlic butter and cover all of the shells with plenty of butter and cook for a further minute or 2. 8. once the Lapas are completely separate get your lemon wedge and squeeze it on the Lapas 9. Then enjoy !
