TANDAS PUBLICITARIAS DE CANAL 9 LIBERTAD (Buenos Aires, mid 1985)

The Prisma Archive received some very interesting material: the video trailers and advertisements from the old Canal 9 Libertad, during its peak of success in the mid-1980s. The quality of the original video is impeccable, and it's clear that it's a complete reel specially assembled to be attached to the series of telops and film clips. It does, however, include some pre-recorded advertisements in that format, such as those for Termidor wine and Río oil, attached to the channel ID that indicated the trailer was ending, even though there were still 10 seconds left to promote the oil. That space, though short, was very valuable and worth the cost because it closed the trailer after the ID and captured the viewer's attention, who had fallen for the teaser that their favorite program was about to begin. Here we present this edited video, without the original video setup glitches and without the parts with the head shifted or with tape defects, almost as if it were broadcast on the old LS 83 TV in Pasaje Gelly.
