Pandemic is a tactical crisis management game in which players are part of an international response team seeking to find vaccines for viral diseases threatening humanity. Initially released in 2008 under the name Pandemic in France, Pandemic has established itself worldwide as a neo-classic tactical cooperative game for adults (games in which players play together against the game and win or lose together). Each player controls a character with different abilities in different cities around the world infected by four deadly diseases. Players must cooperate and plan ahead to prevent the spread of these diseases while working to find cures to win the game. Pandemic is one of the best tactical cooperative games in existence and has established itself as a must-have thanks to its original and relatively accessible mechanics and the originality of its beautifully rendered theme. A must-have in any self-respecting modern game library! PS: The latest edition of the game presented here differs slightly in its rules and materials from the original 2008 version of Pandemic, previously released as a video game in 2009, particularly in terms of the character roles, which are more numerous.
