What Did Coventry City Centre Look Like in 2022?

Click to subscribe! https://www.youtube.com/c/flaneurc21?... This walk around Coventry city Centre took place on an unseasonably mild (13ºC) New Year's Day, 2022. This walk is in three parts - click on the timestamps to skip ahead. 0:00 Council House to Lower Precinct 6:10 Shelton Square to Corporation St 11:25 Transport Museum to the Train Station The first part starts outside the Assembly Festival Garden - a venue set up for the City of Culture - and opposite the Council House. We then go down the High Street and through Broadgate to the Upper Precinct and down to the Lower Precinct. The second part of the walk starts off in Shelton Square in front of the City Arcade and goes up through Market Way to the Coventry Centre Fountain and continuing through Smithford Way and down to Corporation St. This part ends outside the old Coventry Telegraph offices, which have now been turned into a hotel, with views of the Belgrade Theatre. The third part fo the walk starts outside the Coventry Transport Museum and goes up Trinity Street into Broadgate and down through Hertford St, past the Bull Yard and onto Warwick Row. From there, we go through Greyfriar's Green and cross the Ring Road towards the train Station. We finish outside the new station building which will be open in 2022.
