She has won numerous major awards, including the prestigious Outstanding Artist Award at the Taiwan National Erhu Competition. After earning a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from The Ohio State University, she continues to collaborate with a variety contemporary composers & musicians from World, Western-classical, Chinese and other musical backgrounds.
