My idea was to explore the morning charm of this Himalayan village before heading towards Neora Valley National Park. Though entry inside Neora Valley requires permission, the beauty of the forest can be experienced from the outside itself. The I stepped inside the famous Lava Monastery Kalimpong. The peaceful ambience makes this place one of the most important Lava Tourist Places. Due to clouds, the dream of seeing Mt. Kanchenjunga remains unfulfilled. The walk from Lava Monastery to Lava View Point is one of the highlights of the journey. Surrounded by pine forests and mountain roads, I eventually reach the famous I Love Lava sign and Lava View Point. Next I enter Lava Pine Park / Lava Pine Forest which is one of the most beautiful pine forests in North Bengal. This is undoubtedly a must-visit Lava Tourist Spot. From Lava Clock Tower, I hire a car and begin my Neora Valley National Park Tour from Lava. The scenic drive through Neora Valley Forest offers spectacular mountain views and eventually takes me towards Kolakham. Kolakham Tourist Spot is one of the hidden gems of Kalimpong. Even from inside the vehicle, the beauty of Kolakham View Point, mountain slopes and forest surroundings is clearly visible. Kolakham is undoubtedly one of the best offbeat destinations near Lava. After a beautiful trek through nature, I finally reach Changey Waterfall Lava. Also known as Changey Waterfall Kolakham Lava Kalimpong. The sound of water, surrounding forest and mountain atmosphere create an unforgettable experience. After returning to Lava, I enjoy delicious chowmein at one of the best Restaurants of Lava and explore the Lava Shopping Market for local souvenirs. The next morning begins with another walk through the misty roads of Lava before starting the scenic Lava to Rishop Road Journey.
