ADVENT DAY 22 | DESTINED TO BE BUSY | 25 Martin Pl | Schindler 7000 Hi-speed Traction Lifts w/ PORT

Initially known as the MLC Centre; which was designed by Harry Seidler, these lifts were originally EPL until they were then modded by Kone from 1989 until 1993; apparently what I learnt is that they originally had rare yellow Synergy 2000 indicators (which were also used at the Shangri-La Hotel (notably in the service lifts) until they were modded by Otis. More recently, Schindler upgraded the lifts with PORT Technology. Given that this lift was filmed during lunch hour, I had to stop filming on the way down, as it got very busy; meaning that it would stop on so many floors! It also appears that they use the MetCentre voice for these lifts.
