Episode 7 | Journey From Mt. Roraima to Caracas | 4K

Rising from the clouds like a forgotten world, Mount Roraima delivered one of the greatest adventures of our lives. After days of trekking across rivers, endless savanna, and ancient stone landscapes, we finally stood atop the legendary tepui a place so surreal it feels untouched by time itself. Towering cliffs disappeared into the mist while strange rock formations, crystal valleys, and cold mountain winds reminded us why Roraima has inspired explorers for generations. The descent back to base camp brought a completely different kind of excitement. Covered in mud, exhausted, but still running on adrenaline, we swapped hiking boots for motorcycles and rode deep into the indigenous village. There, surrounded by the warmth and hospitality of the local community, I joined David, Diego, Ivan Lue, and Pilar for a small presentation and gathering that became one of the most meaningful moments of the journey. It was a reminder that this adventure was not only about landscapes, but also about the people who call this extraordinary region home. From there, we continued through the breathtaking wilderness of Gran Sabana, where rolling grasslands and towering tepuis stretched endlessly toward the horizon. As night fell, the adventure was far from over. Armed with flashlights and hope, we headed out in search of the elusive Giant Snipe. Hours later, in the cool darkness of the savanna, success finally came an unforgettable wildlife encounter that made the evening even more magical. The following morning, we said our goodbyes to Ricardo and his wife Odimar, grateful for their kindness and friendship along the way. Leaving the highlands behind, we journeyed down into the lowlands, spending a quiet night there before continuing onward to Pourtodas for one final overnight stay. Then came the final chapter of the Roraima series and expedition: our flight north to the vibrant and beautiful city of Caracas. As the mountains and savannas disappeared beneath the clouds, it was impossible not to reflect on everything we had experienced the challenge of Roraima, the people we met, the endless roads through the Gran Sabana, and the feeling that Venezuela still holds some of the wildest and most extraordinary adventures left on Earth. Stay true for the next episode of our journey to the beautiful Andes, you do not want to miss it.
