Example: Ideal Brayton Cycle - Constant and Variable Specific Heats
Watch the full playlist here: • Chapter 10: Gas Power Cycles Let's try out a problem working with our Ideal Brayton cycle. This is the workhorse cycle for generating power in many air breathing systems. It is also the cycle that jet's use which makes my Aerospace heart happy. In this problem we are also going to also be seeing how the more realistic we make our cycle, the lower its performance will be. Ideal is the maximum. If you need more than ideal, you need to rethink your design.
