After four years of collaboration between cultural organisations across Europe and Africa, the DECONFINING Arts, Culture and Policies in Europe and Africa project reaches its final milestone at THEATER DER WELT in Chemnitz. The conference Bridging the Gaps. Connecting the Dots. brings together partners, artists, researchers, and cultural practitioners to reflect on the project's achievements, discuss challenges, share research and artistic outcomes, and explore future models for equitable, sustainable, and decolonial cultural cooperation between Africa and Europe.
