Garages continue to be one of the most feared places for the residents of Paiporta. And for those in all the towns affected by the deadly flood that swept away everything in its path a week ago today. Seven days after the flood, aid has begun to arrive in the municipality, but it has been them, the locals, individuals, anonymous, ordinary civilians, who are doing most of the cleanup work: pumping out the water, cleaning the mud from the walls and floors, and searching inside the parking lots for cars still submerged under the water.
