He was the Prop Master for films including “Black Swan” and “American Hustle” as well as for television series like “Girls” and “The Americans”. He was also the Stand-By Set Dresser for the original “Law & Order” for eight seasons, during what he lovingly refers to as The Jerry Orbach Years. Since 2023, Dan has been the host and producer of “Let’s Talk Ten”, a podcast where he and his guests create top ten lists of their favorite things in movies, music, and television. The discussions can be funny, or analytical, or they can veer into personal, intimate territory. The point is never about what is “better” or “best”. It’s about favorites, the stuff we love in pop culture and why we love it. Dan and his wife Helene have been married for over 32 years and are the parents of two daughters.
