Caleb & Valerie Wedding Dec 2011 (Part 11) - Yam Seng & Speech

In every Chinese wedding dinner, there will definitely be yam seng, which generally means "bottom's up" or "cheers". At this point, all of the guests' drinks will be topped up in preparation for the toast and everyone will stand up for the toast. The bride and groom, together with the parents will be on the stage to toast together with the guest. And of course, the yam is loud and long. This usually generates a very cheery and exciting atmosphere. Definitely one of the best events happening during dinner. A little speech from the bride and groom in here too.... short and sweet speech which is of course, good to get everyone's attention but not to the point of boredom.
