Assiniboine Provincial Park may be one of the most beautiful hikes in the Canadian Rockies. Mt. Assiniboine, also known as the Matterhorn of the Rockies is a must see bucket list destination. We booked permits a month in advance, normally they sell out immediately for the summer season but the odds are in your favour landing permits in the fall. The yellow larches were in full effect.
