Old Johnson V4 Outboard Stator Test and Removal revised
This revised video shows how to test an electric Stator and Trigger on an old Johnson and Evinrude V4 outboard. I show how to remove the flywheel, stator, trigger and voltage regulator. I want to thank my subscribers for pointing out the errors in the original, Mercury Stator windings are typically green and blue, OMC V4 Trigger windings are also Green and Blue - and I mostly work on Mercury outboards!
