The total land area in our district is 235,000 hectares. Of this, 64,900 hectares are arable land. By crop distribution: 22,000 hectares are devoted to grain crops, over 10,000 hectares are sown with safflower, 28,500 hectares are devoted to alfalfa, 1,500 hectares are devoted to vegetables, and 1,200 hectares are devoted to potatoes. Agriculture, since everything is rurally oriented, is developing primarily in two areas: crop production and livestock farming. Regarding industrial development, the villages of Tyulkubas and Sastobe are somewhat remote from agriculture, as the main production facilities are located there.
