NINERS Chemnitz scored a 105-94 road win at Dolomiti Energia Trento at the BTS Arena on Tuesday night. Both teams made a slow start in the first quarter, with Trento finishing on top by a point. Chemnitz pulled away in the second period however, led by Kevin Yebo and Corey Davis. As the teams split for halftime, Massimo Cancellieri’s team was up by 16. NINERS widened the gap to 22 soon after the restart, but the home crowd saw its team fight back. Devante Jones and Andrej Jakimovski sank huge buckets to pull the hosts back into the contest, but it wasn’t enough. When all was said and done, Rodrigo Pastore’s team had earned the 11-point victory. Kevin Yebo led the game in scoring with 33, while also picking up 8 boards and 3 assists. Spreading the offensive load effectively, five other Chemnitz players finished on double digit scoring. Jakimovski scored a career-high 30 points in defeat.
