Lexus GS400 Intake & Borla Exhaust

I LEARNED THIS BY USING A VEEPEAK WIFI OBD SCANNER/DATA LOGGER AND THE CAR SCANNER PRO APP.* Borla ProXS Mufflers for Lexus GS400, GS430 and GS300: https://amzn.to/2D5ADHt These are some clips of the different mods I have done to my 1998 Lexus GS400 and what they sound(ed) like. The final configuration shown in the video is as follows: -K&N FIPK intake kit *NO LONGER RECOMMENDED ON THIS VEHICLE! IT RUNS WAY TOO LEAN WITH IT!* -1st muffler (after cats) removed. Yes, this is a muffler, not a cat, at least on the GS400. 2" pipe installed where the muffler was. -Both resonators removed, 2" pipes installed. -Both stock mufflers removed, Borla ProXS mufflers installed (part # 40346). This is the cheapest install option since they practically fit in the stock locations with minimal fab work. The only other "performance" mod done to the car (in terms of engine or drivetrain) is turning the transmission dial all the way up to III. Check out ClubLexus.com for more info on that.
