Single-Cell Genomics in Checkpoint Blockade and CAR-T Cell Immunotherapy

Dr. Ansuman Satpathy, Assistant Professor at Stanford University and member of Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy, delivers a talk "Single cell genomics in checkpoint blockade and CAR-T cell immunotherapy" for the 10x Virtual Cancer Symposium. In the first part of the talk, Dr. Satpathy leverages paired scRNA-seq and scTCR-seq to uncover fundamental aspects of the T cell response to PD-1 blockade and scATAC-seq to identify molecular regulators of T cell exhaustion in primary patient samples. Next, Dr. Satpathy discusses how his group used scRNA-seq to track engineered T cells in the first-in-human CRISPR-engineered T cell trial in refractory cancer.
