You NEED To Visit Tofino's Neighbor, UCLUELET, BC

We traveled to Ucluelet BC to see what there is to do there. Getting there was an adventure in itself with all the twisty roads. Poor Benny, our cat, was sick twice! Ucluelet is a small town located about 30 minutes south of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island. This small island community is a popular fishing destination, and also acts as a sort of “Tofino overflow” for beach goers and surfers. The Pacific Rim National Park separates the two towns and there is a bicycle trail that runs the whole distance between Ucluelet and Tofino, too. While in Ucluelet we walked the Wild Coast Trail, ate gourmet hot dogs at Ukee Dogs, and went on a whale watching and wildlife tour with Subtidal Adventures. We wished that we could have stayed longer to check out the hiking and bike trail.
