Six Flags Great America | Gurnee IL

Visiting Six Flags Great America on a sunny day with the comfortable temperatures around 73 degrees during Memorial Weekend was a fantastic experience. There was very little waiting time to get through security and the ticket scanning booths at the time, making entry into the park smooth and easy. The park is beautifully decorated in celebration of its 50th anniversary, adding even more excitement to the atmosphere. Most of the rides were operating today, giving visitors plenty to enjoy. Walking through the park, we saw many exciting attractions including the Scenic Railway train, Sky Trek, The Joker, Batman, Sky Striker, X-Flight, Demon, Goliath, Giant Drop, Raging Bull, Wrath of Rakshasa, and Lobster. Unfortunately, Aquaman, The Flash: Vertical Velocity, Roaring Rapids, and Ricochet were not operating today.
