Pastor Bobby’s encouragement for you today is don’t let anyone disqualify you, but instead, get out there and do things. Living is the best education you can have! Today’s message: “Don’t Let Anyone Disqualify You.” Dr. Philip Hoch is an accomplished organist who has been with us here at Shepherds Grove since August of 2021. He learned how to play the organ at a young age and went on to earn his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Redlands. He most recently earned his Doctor of Musical Arts Degree from the Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA. He is the Artist Professor of Organ and Visiting Assistant Professor of Music History at the University of Redlands. Philip often serves at his home church by leading worship, and occasionally sings here in our choir! Preston Parker is a reoccurring worship leader here at Hour of Power and has toured and performed with numerous choirs and organizations locally and internationally. He has also been featured performing on shows like The Oscars and The Ellen DeGeneres show. Today, Preston performs “Great Jehovah” (Travis Greene). He is joined by backup singers Charlean Carmon, Mika Lett and Kenya Hathaway, and is accompanied by Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra. Connor Smith is a Los Angeles-based performer, studio vocalist, arranger and composer. As an in-demand LA session singer, Connor’s voice has appeared in major motion pictures, television shows, studio albums and video games. As a touring artist, vocal director, and guest soloist Connor has performed across the globe from renowned concert halls and recording studios to the stages of Universal Studios Hollywood and the Disneyland Resort. Connor is also a member of the Hour of Power Choir. Today, Preston Parker joins Connor in performing, “Power” (Chris Tomlin; Edward Martin Cash; Joseph Patrick Martin Barrett). They are joined by backup singers Charlean Carmon, Mika Lett and Kenya Hathaway, and accompanied by the Hour of Power Orchestra, directed by Dr. Marc Riley. The Hour of Power Choir, directed by Dr. Irene Messoloras, performs “And Can it Be” (Dan Forrest). They are accompanied by Zach DeChance on piano, and Dr. Marc Riley and the Hour of Power Orchestra.
