iCAN: Louisburgh-Killeen Heritage
The Irish Community Archive Network, or iCAN, is the leading organisation championing and supporting digital community archives in Ireland. Community Archives reflect a shared history, identity, experience or interest. They are created by, with and for the community. Working in partnership, iCAN is supporting community groups across Ireland to establish and manage their own digital archives. iCAN connects people and places, by documenting our shared Irish heritage and making it accessible to people all over the world. A partnership project by the National Museum of Ireland, the Heritage Council and participating local authority Heritage Officers.
