GTA3 |PS2| 1:43:44 SpeedRun (Former WR) | No Glitches | Dodo Flight is Used

This is a speedrun for Grand Theft Auto III for the Sony Playstation 2 (PS2). I achieved this run in December of 2003, and it was verified by Twin Galaxies as a world record on 01/01/2004. It has since been beaten, but it still ranks in the top 10 glitchless speedruns for the PS2 version after 20 years. The verified time was 1 hour, 43 minutes, and 44 seconds. This run could have been below 90 minutes, but RNG, driving mistakes, and a few missions that did not go as well as they could have cost me several minutes. There are four missions where I lost the most time, and they are indicated in the Timestamps section. Video & sound quality issues: Several segments of this video have had copyrighted songs erased so the sound will be affected. There has been some muting as well. The original recording was in VHS and so the quality is low. I've brightened the picture up a bit to improve the viewing experience as best as I can with my current software resources.
