On this new journey, we travel from the Iberá Wetlands to Paso de los Libres, discovering landscapes, rivers, and stories that often go unnoticed. We stop at the Sarandí stream, a small waterway that, during heavy rains, tends to overflow and block the road. Further along, we encounter a grassland fire by the roadside, an image that inevitably reminded us of the devastating fires that ravaged Corrientes and prompted us to reflect on the importance of preventing new outbreaks. Before the end of our journey, we reach the Miriñay River, which originates in the Iberá Wetlands, where we observe its waters flowing over an ancient basalt bed, revealing part of the province's geological history. A trip through Corrientes that combines nature, landscapes, geology, and a reflection on environmental stewardship.
