DYNAmore Express: Tips and tricks for successful implicit analysis with LS-DYNA
Speaker: Christoph Schmied (DYNAmore GmbH) In addition to the state of the art explicit finite element analysis, LS-DYNA has considerable strengths in implicit analysis where success is mostly based on good convergence behavior. With a focus on structural analysis, possible reasons for convergence difficulties and practical recommendations to improve convergence as well as accuracy are summarized and accompanied by selected examples and keyword options. The course is suited for users with some previous experience from using LS-DYNA, or for experienced users of other implicit FE-programs.
