Co-Artists: Not available This Krithi is a humble and devotional plea to Lord Rama, in which Thyagaraja Swamy questions why he has not been granted the wisdom possessed by great saints and elders. He ultimately affirms that the Lord, whom he sincerely praises, is the knower of the ultimate truth and has the power to uplift sincere seekers. Where should I go (in pursuit of it), oh Ramayya? I talked loosely without clear understanding, now that fruit (wisdom) is beyond my reach. I acquired the knowledge of the Vedas and their philosophic content. I learnt the unity of all the philosophic thoughts. I learnt the intricate truths of the nadavidya (knowledge of music). But, Oh Lord of Tyagaraja, enlighten me with the actual truth. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER : These songs have been uploaded for hearing pleasure only and as an archive for Carnatic music.
