This is a very special Duarte show. It's held in the yard of one of Chris' most dedicated fans, a guy named Mel, who has him play his now-annual Memorial Day weekend party in Coventry, CT. Mel, who is a carpenter by trade, built a stage on the side of his garage, and his brother owns a DJ business, so he supplies the lights and PA setup. These shows are different from the usual club shows, in that the band is playing in a much more laid-back setting, with friends, family, and the hard-core CDG New England fan contingent in attendance. Chris usually plays a very eclectic set, and goes for around 3 hours. This is a must- see event...but this is the only place you can see it unless you are in that circle of friends.
