Brompton Tokyo Wagashi ride Jingu-Akasaka

A cycling trip starting and ending at Brompton Tokyo (Jingumae) to pick up some traditional Japanese sweets at the historic Toraya in Akasaka. We rode through the greenery of Jingu and Gaien-mae to reach the Toraya Akasaka flagship store. After purchasing our favorite wagashi, we continued our journey past the grand Akasaka Palace (State Guest House), through the Yotsuya area, and by the iconic Suga Shrine before returning to the shop. The highlight of the day was the tea break back at Brompton Tokyo. We enjoyed the fresh wagashi and a warm cup of tea together, sharing a relaxing moment after the ride.
