In 1959, after various field trials, a new belt system was introduced. Officially, it had no name, but collectors often refer to it as the Model 1959 or Brigade 59 Belt System. In addition to the field belt, there were small and large combat bags, a canteen, and a folding shovel. Some of these items were worn until the introduction of the KTS90.
